‘Charmed’ star Rose McGowan to film ‘Dylan’s Wake’ in Iowa

Actress Rose McGowan announced on Twitter that she will be in Iowa to film indie movie “Dylan’s Wake.” Filming starts the week of August 31. Here’s what she said:

‘Breaking news!! I’m heading to Iowa to film a movie called Dylan’s Wake. Very well written indie. my co-star is Nick Stahl-so talented. directed by Omar Naim who did The Final Cut, which I loved.”

We first knew about the “Dylan’s Wake”/Iowa connection when we announced the local casting call in late July.

McGowan is a 35-year old actress best known for her role as Paige Matthews in the WB show “Charmed” from 2001-2006. She dated and became engaged to metal musician Marilyn Manson before breaking it off in 2001.

Stahl, 29, is well known for his role alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in “Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.”
